Can you believe we’re still here?!

Never in a million years would I have imagined still having to face the uncertainty and worry of COVID-19 in 2022. My plan for travelling to Japan will have to wait. I can‘t even seem to get to my dear friend in Qld let alone adventure overseas.

I’m grateful for loving family support around me, services that help me day to day navigating ways to reduce my exposure risk, and simple things (like the cricket!!).

As with much of my life, I try and look on the bright side of things. I have an opportunity to sell masks to help keep people safe, as well as create other products with my art work.

Although I haven’t been able to create the summer collection I was hoping for (hard to get stock in and test new products!) I’m still in the think tank, so keep watching this space!

I’ve spent far too much time at home, but that has allowed me to sink back into canvas painting. Commission canvasses may be next!

Stay well and look after yourselves and each other (physically and mentally). If you’re not vaxxed, think of the vulnerable in your community if you’re not worried about your own risk or that of your loved ones.

Across the globe, we are all in this together, and we will get through it.
